About RailHope International

Bringing together Christians to create a network work in the railway and public transport systems worldwide.

International Railway Mission

Founded in 1926, the International Railway Mission (now called RailHope International) is an interdenominational federation which connects christian fellowships with rail staff all over the world. RailHope International now has twelve full associations from a veritety of countries from arround the world. The newest member is RailHope Indonisia (2022).

RailHope International has a vision to see Christians who work in the railway encouraged to start local or regional meetings and to form a national Railway Mission in thir own country. It is our aim that Christians within the railway find ways and possibilities to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a manner that their co-workers will recognise and experience the the joy of knowing the living God.

A Change in Momentum

In 2019 the Board of the International Railway Mission took the decision to rebrand as RailHope International. This embodies the hopes and aspirations of the the International Railway Mission to bring the Hope of Jesus Christ into the heart of the railway industry in every corner of the world. As an international organisation RailHope International has a vision and passion for railway and public transport staff from across the world, but we also know that without prayer and without the leading of the Holy Spirit our vision cannot be achieved.

RailHope Network

We invite you to join with us and pray that God will reach out His hand to bless the work of RailHope International. We pray too that the storehouse of heaven will be opened and flow to bless the work. We also pray that more countries that do not yet have a RailHope Association will, over the coming years, establish a network of Christians in the public transport industries that will join together with brothers and sisters from across the world to reach people with the Gospel of Salvation.

1 Peter 1:13 - 'Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.'

Prayer is the key to success because when the church prays, it operates within the will of God.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. (Rev. 3:20.)
